GENERAL QUESTIONS

How does your company work?

Booking with TMT Weddings is a little different from booking with a single photographer / videographer because we have a small team of local photographers and videographers. We often get asked, “Who will be my photographer / videographer? Do I get to pick?” Once you book your package we will create a wedding details page for you. We will use any information you provide on your page to pair you with who we feel will be the very best fit specifically for you. There are media companies who book weddings and outsource to random photographers / videographers. THIS IS NOT US! All our team members go through our onboarding program / trainings and often start as second shooters for us. We will not send a photographer or videographer to your wedding who we do not have 100% confidence in. The other great thing about booking with us is you NEVER have to worry about us canceling on you! If an emergency arises we will have another team member ready to go so you will not be left scrambling last minute to find a replacement.

What if I do not like the style of the photographer / videographer I am paired with?

 

All of our team members are trained to shoot in our TMT Weddings style. They all are very experienced, professional and have similar equipment requirements. Additionally, ALL photo and video editing is done by our in-house team to ensure the look you see in our portfolio on our website. Whether you are paired with photographer / videographer A, B, C or D the end result will be very similar.

 

After assigning your team we can show you specific work shot by your team. If for any reason you are concerned we will gladly reassign your team. (This rarely happens!) Really, they are all excellent. Your team will contact you within one week of being assigned and will set up a zoom or phone call to get to know you and go over all the important details with you.

Why are your prices so cheap?

This is a question we get asked A LOT! Our goal is to offer high quality media at an affordable rate because we believe everyone deserves to have beautiful wedding media. In the industry there is quite a large markup on photography and videography services. (I’m sure we don’t need to tell you this because you have seen it!) Unlike individual photographers and videographers, our overhead expenses are split between hundreds of weddings so we do not need as large of a markup on our services. Don’t worry, just because our prices are more affordable that does not mean you will sacrifice quality. In fact, if you were to book with our team members independent from us you would pay significantly more. So why do our team members shoot weddings with us for so much cheaper than they charge on their own? Because we handle all the marketing, booking and editing (all the really time consuming aspects that photographers and videographers don’t always love)!  Our team members love filling up their calendars, we love being able to offer the best prices around and you will not have to break the bank to get the wedding media you want and deserve. Win, win, win for everyone. 

How many photographers / videographers are included in your packages?

Our standard packages include one photographer and one videographer.  A second shooter can be added to any package for $100/hour with a four hour minimum.

Do you have insurance?

 

Yes! We are happy to email proof of insurance to your venue upon request.

BOOKING / PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Booking
How much is your deposit?

We ask for a 25% retainer to secure your date on our calendar. The remaining 75% can be broken into monthly payments or a couple larger installments. We are happy to set up a payment plan that supports your needs and budget.

How do I book and what forms of payment do you accept?

When you are ready to book we will email you a customized proposal. When you open the proposal, you can review and electronically sign your contract and pay your deposit via debit or credit card. 

Are there travel fees?

It depends on your location. If your location does require an added travel expense it will be clearly listed on your customized proposal.  We do not believe in hidden travel fees!

Can I add additional hours / services to my package after booking?

We are very flexible so if you book a package with us and later decide you want to extend coverage or add a service that is not a problem at all! We have clients who even extend coverage day of, which we are happy to do.

Can I request a specific editing style?

We try to keep our style as consistent as possible. Take a look through our GALLERY PAGE and if you feel our style is the look you are looking for we would love to capture your special day for you.


 

Do your packages include an engagement session?

You can add an engagement session to any of our standard bundle packages or photo only packages. Our plus packages include an engagement sessions as well as two more of our most popular add-on services: IG Teaser, Audio of Vows & Speeches at a discounted price.

Will I have the same photographer for my engagement session and wedding day?

Yes! Having an engagement session is a great way to get to know your photographer before the wedding so you are comfortable with each other.

Will my photos have watermarks?

Never!  You have full printing rights with no watermarks.

Do you offer printed albums or photo books?

We will deliver all of your photos in a digital album which makes it easy for you print, download, and share with family & friends. However, we do have some great recommendations to share with you for printing individual photos and albums. Designing your own album will allow you to select the photos you love most! 

Do you offer RAW photos?

We do not deliver RAW photos.  If this is something that is important to you please let us know and we can discuss this option with you.

Can I see examples of your video style?
 

You can see many videos we have captured on our YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

 

Do you offer RAW videos?

All our video and bundle packages include RAW video footage. 

How will I receive my RAW video footage?

We will send you a link to all the RAW video footage that your videographer captures throughout your day. 

Can I choose the songs for my wedding video?

We want this to be YOUR video, so we encourage you to choose the music for your video but are happy to choose the songs for you if you'd prefer.  Copyright laws are very strict regarding the use of music in wedding videos, so we have subscriptions to multiple music sites from which you may select your songs. ​Visit our SONG SITE for available music sites, suggested song lists and other helpful song choice info.

 

 

What is the benefit of the audio add on?

While your RAW video clip will include audio, the quality of that audio isn't the same as externally captured audio. Your videographer will be moving around during the ceremony so it's likely that background noise will be captured in the RAW video footage. With the audio add on, we bring separate equipment to capture a high quality recording of your vows and speeches. These external audio clips will be used in your edited highlight video.

Although we specialize in highlight style videos, we do have documentary and other video options available. Visit our

MEDIA DELIVERY QUESTIONS

Media
When can I expect to receive my wedding media?

Our standard turnaround time is 30 business days. Of course this can vary a little depending on the season but generally speaking we have all media delivered within 30 business days. The turnaround time on our engagement sessions is typically 1 week.

How will my media be delivered?

Your photos will be available for viewing and download via Pixieset.  You will receive a link to your album that will allow you to scroll through the different sections with ease.  Pixieset will allow anyone with the link to order professional prints and download all photos in full resolution.  Since you retain the printing rights, you can have them printed anywhere you prefer (although we do recommend professional labs for the best results).
 

We will give you a YouTube link for each of your videos.  This link makes it so easy to share your videos with everyone you love! You can also download the original file from the DropBox download link we provide.
